This is a great find - an issue of Time Out from 1972 devoted to Invisible London with a specially commissioned half page drawing/collage by Peter Cook. Titled: London of Dreams of FREEDOM - it carries Peter Cook's signature and the word ARCHIGRAM in caps to the left hand side (printed not ink signed). The collage includes a great phrase "There are more architects in Hamsptead than India". We have not seen this work before and assume it is not included in any of the Archigram books. The rest of the issue is very strong and includes Cedric Price's scheme for a Camden Fun Palace, Yoko Ono phone lines, flyposting, graffiti in Kentish Town underground and a whole page on the Architectural Association (uncredited but probably also Peter Cook designed). Very good condition - cover has a little spotting to the right hand side as shown. Low start price and no reserve for an exciting auction. We offer a discount on shipping for multiple purchases. This is an I.D.E.A auction. See our other items for more I.D.E.A.S |
