Description:
A fine chalk portrait, sketch on artist's paper, signed Ursula White, and dated '69 for 1969 and framed - approx 23 X 19 inches (58.42 X 48.26cm).

This is a fine English School sketch dating from the late 20th Century period.
The portrait depicts the most charming study of "Fidget" a rough coated Jack Russell type terrier dog. A wonderful study of this fine little cheeky character as he sits, ears pricked looking alert, having a brown and white face with a white blaze and healthy shiny black nose, with a small dark patch on his back and tail. A wonderful portrait of a much loved pet and a beautiful study of this lovely little chap.
The work is signed and dated lower left - Ursula White, '69 for 1969.

Contemporary plain moulded Pine. Finish: Natural.
Condition:
The chalk sketch is in fine original condition, although there is some slight rippling to the paper which could be rectified if the painting was re-framed. The frame has one or two minor marks consistent with age.
