To fasten upholstery buttons to the back, seat or arms of your suite, you require a very strong thread.  This item is professional quality buttoning twine.  Made from nylon, it's extremely strong and slip resistant.  The item is supplied as an entire cob, which has countless yards on it.  The amount isn't stated, but I imagine it will keep most people going for years.  Being nylon, we've found that it lasts for ages when used to tie up plants in the garden!
