THIS IS a very eye-catching badge which celebrates the 300^th Anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne. 

 

The centre-piece of this excellent badge is a Red, White and Blue flame which rises from a Black plinth set against a stunning Yellow background.   The plinth is inscribed with the date 1690.  

 

Around this are two bands.  The Red outer band reads: 1690 – 1990.  300th Anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne.  The inner Black band reads: For Faith, Folk and Family.  All lettering is in Gold.

 

Diameter 22mm.  Vertical brooch clasp. so less likely to fall out of your jacket.
