This auction is for an extremely rare United States Postal Service Stelle San Marco Aspide saddle as used by the all conquering USPS cycling team. 

The saddle was used on my 2004 Trek 5500 for perhaps 2,000 miles, but was taken off the bike four years ago when I started using a different brand - it has languished in a cupboard since.  The saddle shows some signs of wear consistent with usage, i.e. the rails have clamp marks, the sides  / rear of the saddle has lost some of the blue colouring (see photos), and the white embroidery is a little 'off white'.  That said, the saddle is in good condition, has no scuffs or rips and has many more miles left in it.

Oh it is light too - 130g to 140g on my kitchen scales. 

These saddles are no longer in production and cannot be bought in the shops, so maybe a must for any Lance / USPS fan.
