It is in GOOD used condition, with manufacturers warranty till dates in 2010. The scanner works straight out of the box without setup, special software, drivers or separate power supply. HOW DOES IT WORK ? It can be used as a point and shoot laser when out of the stand and when in the stand the scanner automatically senses barcodes passing underneath it and gives instant automatic scanning. Connecting barcode scanners through USB is great where you don't have a normal ps/2 keyboard required by the older style ps/2 keyboard scanners, or where you need to connect to a LAPTOP.
