Thanks for checking out this gorgeous little Art Deco brooch in the shape of a gondola with gondolier. The attention to detail on this piece is amazing, right down to the gondoliers face, hair and hat and the detail on the gondola with it's little hut with windows and curtains. This piece is stamped 925 on the back and has marcasite detail, I have counted 6 missing marcasites, this certainly doesn't detract from the beauty of the brooch. There is a pin and roll over catch on the back which works but has a small kink in the pin. This brooch is a very unique piece and would make a splendid addition to an Art Deco collection or as a single decorative piece. It measures: 4.1cm x 1.2cm at highest point. Happy bidding ! ! !
