UNUSUAL SILK JAPANESE SWORD BAG TANTO WAKIZASHI tsuba

An unusual and interesting sword bag for a Japanese tanto or wakizashi.................. It is a beautiful two tone..................... a rich emerald green and ivory colour....................with an irridescent reflection to light....................The bag is lined, and also has an emerald silk woven ball tassel, and a loop for the tying cord to go through. .........................It has a beautiful embroidered gold thread mon ........................ (the tying cord is not supplied with this bag, but a suitable piece of cord can be used, or I have seen cords available on Ebay ). .................................................. These bags are based on an old original Japanese design that I saw many years ago............on a very expensive sword !!! ..................... The bag is 26" long, not including the tassel....... ........................ These bags beautifully enhance a sword, and protect from knocks and dust......................
