Unusual Art Deco inlaid Mahogany domed top double bedstead. C1930

The bed is in good condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice,it is free from woodworm past or present.

The bed is an unusual design with its stepped sides, it gives the illusion of being domed top. It has a raised headboard with ornate inlaid decoration of a bowl of fruit with chevron banding beneath, the footboard is lower but is a near mirror image of the headboard, the difference is it has cabriole legs

The bed comes with metal side rails but no bed base, I can have wooden rails made or can obtain a metal bed spring through a source I have, both will cost an additional £25.

I am also offering the matching Wardrobe, Tallboy and kneehole dressing table separately on ebay !!

 Measurements

Headboard is 45".75 high, the foots is 32".25 high,the overall width is 55".5 and the length is 80" The bed takes a standard double mattress.

Delivery

 Please email for a delivery quote and provide you full postcode, all goods are fully insured and will be carefully wrapped for the journey,

Most of the deliveries to England will be done by my vehicle and my delivery driver, I will in most cases provide you with a 2 hour delivery window which will save you waiting in all day, (please see my feedback to view how good this service is !!)

 I am happy to combine deliveries when the goods are delivered via my vehicle but this must stated when asking for a quote,

deliveries to Scotland and the South west beyond Northern Somerset will be carried out by an independant courier, they have a fleet of vehicles and offer a first class service,

 All delivery quotes are based on 1 man who will gladly help place the item in your home,if you require 2 men please ask when requesting a quote !!

please be aware you will be part of multiple deliveries on the day and your swift help is important !!

Deliveries take between 7 and 21 days on average but can be sooner if required, (Depending on where you are this may in some cases cost extra, if unsure please ask !!)

Storage and self collection

If the item is being collected it must be done within 14 days, if you are unable to collect within 14 days the item can be stored at an aditional cost of £10 per week,
