UNUSED VINTAGE FRENCH TWISTED GOLD EMBROIDERY THREAD





This is an unused spool of vintage French gold metal embroidery thread that came from a factory in Lyon, France that had closed down, it dates to about 1950. It is the type of thread traditionally used for military, civic and religeous embroidery. This is a thick thread made up of 2 twisted threads creating a thread of about 1mm thick . The reel  measures 5.5cms tall or 2.25", in perfect, unused condition.  Thank you for looking.
