Q - Do I need a cable to Unlock my phone?

A - Some handsets (most Nokia’s) use a ‘remote’ methods, key in a code that has been calculated using supplied program, Others require the use of the standard handset data cable (usually in the box from new) to connect to your PC/Laptop, some others require the use of a special powered data cable, Serial cable, or connection via a cable box, in order to access the handset and unlock it

Q - Is this an easy operation?

A - In most cases yes, remote unlocks are very easy, standard data cable unlocks are pretty simple providing you have some experience in connection and setting up device drivers, Powered cable and cable boxes unlocks require a fair understanding of handsets to operate, and instruction are not supplied in most cases, generally speaking if you know little of PC’s and handsets steer clear of DIY unlocking.

Q - Will it unlock all handsets?

A - No not all! Some handsets inc. the Nokia BB5 models are not unlockable by standard methods, they require specialist data / equipment only available from Network operators

Q - Can you list the models that are covered?

A - Unfortunately the list is vast, covering hundreds of models and listing policy does not allow for such information

Q - How up to date is the software

A - The content is regularly updated, but as new handset models are launched, there is always a period between new Handset issue and the release of unlock solutions, as a guide if the handset model is under 9 months old, there is probably no easy unlock solution available yet.
