Ultra sound 304 :
This is your chance to get the excellent Ultra 304 series Soundset for Kurzweil K-series synths.
All of you who were lamenting the disappearance of these wonderful patches can now
get hold of them once again. We have sole license for these fantastic sounds so there
is absolutely nowhere else to get them but here.

The Ultra control series are an Insider Legend within Professional circles.
These sounds sets are available once again and provided on a single floppy disk.
Originally priced at $75 US ( £40 UK approx ) ( €58 Euro approx )

The Key to these amazing sounds is what happens to the sound spectrum
when ( Mod Wheel ctrl 1 ) and ( Data slider ctrl 6 ) are applied while playing.
The effect is not really like a standard Cutoff response, it is quite different
and often much more radical. This radical effect applies to many of the ultra series
304 and also the 303 sounds. The requirements are obviously different for the
Ultra Sequential Pads Set because Pad sounds are a more static sound Type.

Ultra 304 about the Sound Set:
The 304 and 303 soundsets character can best be described as being similar
to taking the outputs of a TB-303 / Nord Lead / Waldorf or Korg prophecy's and
putting them though a Amp Head ( or ) Devilfish unit. If you want to know about
the silverfish then type ( TB303 Devilfish ) into Google. Only about 35% of the sounds
have this Gritty edge, the other 65% are smooth and textured. However; these sounds
have a unique character that is unlike any other sound source available today.

There are 110+ sounds in the 304 soundset and they posses a diverse range of sonic qualities.
These soundsets use Mod wheel 1 and Data entry controller 6 assignments as the control source.
Unlike a springback Pitch Wheel the Modulation wheel will always remain in the last fixed position.
You therefore have at your fingertips, a Palette that possesses a Massive amount of combinations.
This is one of the reasons why they were so Loved by pro musicians.

The Ultra Sequential Pads are a great set of sounds too.
Not as much control is needed for Pads but they are still Highly Expressive.

Ultra 304 about Music Styles:
Overall you can use these sounds in All Styles of Music.
They are distinctly Analogue in character and so fit perfectly with the whole
spectrum of musical Styles. I have heard Great reInterpretations of classical
Music being made using these sounds in the vein of TOMITA's Music as well
as R&B Hip Hop Dance/Trance Music Rock, Drum & Bass and many other styles.
These patches use the onboard ROM of the Kurzweil K2000 K2500 and K2600
and work on both Rack and Keyboard versions.

The Kurzweil onboard factory sounds always had a distinct lack of good Analogues.
Having these sounds in your Kurzweil will once and for all - Put It Right.
