The Ultimate Sport Mechanic Repair Stand features Ultimate's uniquely stable tripod base.  The great thing about this tripod base is that it holds your bike steady on uneven surfaces.   Most other brands of repair stands, especially at this price, don’t have the tripod base or adjustable height.   This stand is adjustable from 42" to 65" high, so you can easily work on your bike without bending over.  And since the tripod is constructed from Ultimate spec'd aluminum alloy it won't rust, making it a great tool for holding your bike while you wash it.

It's quick to set up and use too, you'll be wrenching in about 20 seconds.  Clamp your bike in quickly and securely with the easy to use “spinner” type clamp.  Even though it holds your bike securely, it also treats your bike’s tubing gently so that thin walled tubes won’t get damaged.  The clamp arm uses a clutch to hold your bike in position so you can also rotate your bike a full 360°, even upside-down.  When you're done working on your bike, the tripod base folds up for compact storage and traveling, and the clamp arm folds down as well.
