Bakelite Items from the 1950s 1.An Ashtray in a Brown Mottled Bakelite,12 cms in diameter,and 2 cms deep.This ashtray is in good condition for its age no cracks,or chips,and made from a dark brown mottled Bakelite,----2.A Single Bakelite Candlestick 9cms diameter x 4 cms tall,in a nice light brown mottled Bakelite,with Black Bakelite top,the black top of the candle holder has blistered from the heat of the candles!!,and the steel plated weight to the base has some superficial rust,but it is still a useable item,it might be possible to smooth the candle holder top back with light sanding.!!!
