	What is it? This is a TWIN radio microphone unit with a 19” RackMounting receiver. The complete set-up comes with TWO Hand-Held Radio or Wireless Microphones AND a 19” RackMount TWIN Receiver Unit tuned specifically to these two microphones. The UHF frequencies used by these Radio Mics and the Receivers are FIXED. There are two different versions; this version has the frequencies fixed at 863.3 mHz + 864.3 mHz in the UHF band. UHF has the advantage of NOT being interfered with by taxi drivers, ambulances and the like – a nasty experience at the best of times! The other version has 863.8 mHz + 864.8 mHz as the fixed frequencies. In theory, you could use two sets and operate FOUR different frequencies. In practice, however, there would be some ‘cross-talk’ between one or two of the mics. If you want multiple radio mics at once, you will need to spend more money! The receiver is actually TWO receivers in one so that each microphone is individually processed. Each channel has its own volume control. There is an XLR BALANCED output and a Jack Un-Balanced output. Both of these are a sum of the two radio channels. This means that you need ONE mic channel input on your mixer to operate both radio mics. If you want more control over each channel, then buy the individual units or go for a more expensive Twin Unit with separate outputs. What can you use these for? Good for situations where you need a clear mic without interference, but you don’t want to risk an expensive mic with a crowd that might have been drinking! So good for Karaoke, Wedding Speeches, Club parties etc. Easily good enough for vocals if you want a Radio Mic but are on a budget. RealSlimDavey says ... Grab yourself a bargain! Construction The microphones have a rubberised finish and take PP3 9volt batteries (we can sell you a box of these at a very good price). The Receiver Units are housed in a hard plastic casing with ‘Rack Mount’ ears that screw on the side. You don’t have to rackmount it – you can just place on top of any handy flat surface. Aerials, reception & audio signal level indicators, volume controls and an on/off switch are located on the front. At the back are individual squelch controls, and a Jack and an XLR output (for both signals combined). Power comes from a separate mains supply which is included with the setup.
