Tuareg artefact This rare bag is made of extremely soft and supple goat skin which has been dyed and then embellished with primitive traditional designs and the usual decorative strips of leather tassels. Several Tuareg groups use this technique and this is probably from one of those in the western Tuareg region of the western Sahara bordering south east Morocco. The photos show front and reverse and a close up. Reference 1842. 66 x 40cms. Only €265. This piece as well as other treasures are featured on my website.
