You can use embossing pens to draw or write freehand & emboss, you can even use an embossing pen to ink a rubber stamp by colouring directly onto the stamp to ink the rubber stamp.  Especially good for flowers, butterflies etc. where you want a multicoloured stamped image.  Try stamping an image and then colour in with the embossing pens before covering with clear embossing powder and then heat embossing. You can also use an embossing pen to highlight an existing image on your paper and then heat emboss.  Or try creating your own backgrounds by drawing stripes or swirls with the embossing pen and then emboss in clear or sparkly embossing powder.

Coloured pens can be used with a similar coloured embossing powder or clear.  Clear embossing pens can be used with any coloured powder including clear.  A clear pen and clear powder is especially good when highlighting portions of a patterned paper or picture. 

The ink is non-toxic and acid free so can be used in both cardmaking and scrapbooking. Each pen has a dual tip.  The fatter end is a bullet tip and the fine end is a chisel tip.
