Our brand names, 'Fishing & Flies' and 'The Fly Factory' are amongst the foremost brands, known throughout the world for our extensive range of fishing flies. We sell through ebay auctions and through our super ebay shop - many hundreds of products to suit the fly fisherman can be purchased. Yes, whether you are fishing for trout and need trout flies, or salmon and sea trout and need salmon flies, or sea fishing and need saltwater flies - Fishing & Flies and ebay is the place to visit.

Shipment to UK customers are sent out by First Class Mail. Orders over £20 we send using Recorded delivery which includes a tracking service.

For shipments outside the UK we use airmail. In addition for a £4 extra charge we can send using "International Signed For" which includes tracking and insurance.

The Royal Mail state that a first class parcel is deemed lost 15 days after postage.
We can then claim compensation and re-send the lost item.

Goods will be shipped as soon as we have cleared funds. Worldwide shipping available at extra cost - if not quoted please enquire for exact costs before bidding and processing payment.

You may pay by PayPal, or any credit or debit card through PayPal. We also accept cheques (only UK bank cheques are acceptable), postal orders and direct bank transfers. Payment by credit/debit card can also be made by telephone, simply call us on 01446 700401 and we can take your payment. Most cards are acceptable but not American Express or Diners.

Multiple Items - we combine shipments to save carriage costs where possible. For Fly Selections each additional item costs just £0.25. For other items please ask.

Returns - Because you won't have had an opportunity to examine the item we operate a 30 Day Returns Period for AUCTION FIXED PRICE & SHOP FIXED PRICE Items. The Right to Return an Item expires 30 days following delivery. If you decide to return an item please send a message via eBay or email us at sales@fishingandflies.com

Refunds - Will be the full price paid, excluding original delivery cost. You will be responsible for ensuring the item is returned via a reliable delivery service and for paying return delivery costs. Items returned for refund or exchange should be in the same condition as originally supplied.

PAYMENT
We will combine all purchases so you only pay the minimum post and packing cost possible. This is only possible if you have not completed checkout.

SHIPPING
We aim my to post your items within 24 hrs but due to our order book this is not always possible,

We obtain proof of postage for all orders and will gladly email you a copy if you request it.

If your item does not arrive, we cannot be held responsible for the items that go missing in the post, however should you request we will gladly send your items by recorded delivery or sign for mail but this at an extra cost, please email sales@theflyfactory.co.uk if you require this.

Overseas buyers please note that it can take up to 14 days to receive goods from the UK

Postal insurance is offered at the rate of £1 for every £10 or part of £10 spent

I.e. The cost of postal insurance on purchases of £15 would be £2.

We take the HIGHEST DELIVERY COST from the items purchased and add the REDUCED DELIVERY COST for each additional item. 

Our Delivery Discount Scheme applies only when purchases are Combined and Paid for Simultaneously. Combining Multi Purchases into One Transaction helps to minimise our selling costs. If you pay for each item purchased with a separate payment you will not receive any discount and due to additional costs & time we cannot process lost discounts retrospectively.

Return policy

Return Policy 
Buy It Now purchases are protected by the Distance Selling Regulations, which apply to items purchased from a business seller at a distance (i.e. there is no face-to-face contact between the consumer buyer and the seller) via Buy It Now listings and Second Chance Offers.

The Regulations provide: in the UK, a period of 7 working days after the date of receipt of the item , return postage is at the buyers expenses however,  money will be refunded, including the original postage and packaging charges.


Return or Refund against Auctioned Products -
Where the item is part of an auction  -  Refunds will not be given. If on the rare occassion an item is found to be faulty a replacement item will be sent if this is not available then a credit note or exchange against another item will be offered excluding all postage costs.
