The Chinese Star God, Lu, symbolizes good fortune, hope for the future and the present. Seen holding a sceptre of power and affluence he symbolises opportunities to better oneself and receive the rewards.
Fu
The Chinese God of Wealth and Happiness
The Chinese Star God, Fu, holds a symbol of gold to signify wealth and is always placed in the centre of the other 2 star Gods, Lu and Sau, sometimes portrayed standing slightly taller than them.
Sau
The Chinese God of Health and Longevity
The Chinese Star God, Sau (recognised by his large head), carries a peach in his hand which blossoms every 3000 years, symbolising immortality. To marry in the month the peach blossoms is considered lucky and signifies a long marriage.
The trinket boxes in this range are beautifully designed and crafted, each is enamelled with gold plated detail. At first glance they do not look like trinket boxes, each one has a hinged compartment with a magnetic closure and once opened a secret hideaway for those small precious items is revealed.
