Hello, this came from a local auction described as 19th century Amozan tribal knife. The sheath and handle is made of some type of hardwood and the dart holder but a very dense hardwood.this dart holder has a sheath made from a leaf and has been stiched with vine type material. The blade is very sharp and well balanced and shaped like a machette.I would advise that Amozan could be a generalization and if so it could be possible that it came from New Guinea or Polynesia any area of rain forrest jungles. Please see photos and let me know.
