SIGNED FOR DELIVERIES:

For Recorded and Special Deliveries The Royal Mail should leave a "while you were out card" if no one is available to accept and sign for your order. It then becomes the customer's responsibility to collect the item from their local sorting office. Royal Mail's policy is to return uncollected items to the sender after one week. If we receive your order back because it was not collected by you (the customer) AllPhotoSupplies cannot be held responsible for the cost of re-delivery.


LOST ITEMS:

If an item is lost in the post it should be noted that The Royal Mail will not recognise the loss until 15 working days have passed. After 15 working days have passed we will submit a compensation claim with The Royal Mail, who in turn will send you (the customer) a form to sign which confirms the item was indeed not delivered. 

PLEASE NOTE it is the customer's responsibility to return the form back to The Royal Mail. Only then can compensation by granted. We no longer refund for lost items before receiving compensation due to customers not signing and returning the declaration.

If in an exceptional circumstance we do refund a customer for a lost-in-post item before obtaining compensation from the Royal Mail, and then that customer does not co-operate by signing the non-delivery declaration sent to them by the Royal Mail, we will assume the customer has the item. We will then instruct a debt collection agency to recover our loss from the customer.
