What is a DIGITAL RAIL image and what do I get when I buy one?
The Digital Rail series is a value-priced set of beautifully reproduced, high quality Colour Photographs and Digital Images .......Photos of modern-day rail transport in action, intended for collectors, enthusiasts, or simply anyone who likes them!
A Photographic Print (Which can be supplied with a complimentary digital version (jpg) - if you want one) A Digital Image (The jpg version is available on it's own if you don't want the print)
Please note the sample and copyright watermarks do not appear on the actual print / digital image. The sample image shown here is only representative for Ebay display purposes and is of much lower quality than the actual image that you will receive.

Q&A's - Before You Buy........
Q. What is the size of the print / image? A. The Digital Rail series prints are all supplied as 6" x 4" / 10cm x 15 cm prints (standard postcard size). The digital images vary individually, but all are high resolution and suitable for enlargement, full screen display or projection. They will be a minimum of 1728 x 1152 pixels and are supplied in uncompressed jpeg format. File sizes for an individual image range from 1Mb - 6 Mb (most are around 2Mb in file size).
Q. I can only see a few photographs in this series that you have for sale, is that all of them? A. There are many more to come......please bear with us as we have to start somewhere. We want to maintain a high standard of image quality and time is being taken to choose and upload the images for release, and this takes time. We hope that the series may even generate a collectors following in the future, but if there is nothing you are interested in at the moment we understand - thank you very much for looking and please do come back - there will be new releases at regular intervals so you may even want to bookmark us or subscribe to the DIGNOS shop so you will be informed when new images arrive.
Q. I'd like to buy a photo but I only want the digital image, not the printed one. Can I get the digital version on it's own? A. Yes you can - and if you do there are no p&p charges at all. If you only want the digital version, simply follow the Buy It Now process as normal and when you get to Review Your Purchase, click the "Request Total From Seller" link BEFORE you pay and add a message to request DIGITAL COPY ONLY. We will send you a revised invoice less the p&p charge. When your payment is received we send your digital image to you via email - simple as that! Please note you must request a total and notify us otherwise we will not be able to remove the p&p charge and it will look to us like a standard order for a print.
Q. Can I get a reduction on postage costs if I buy several photographs? A. Yes you can - provided you buy them together in a single order there will only be one p&p charge (also includes other similar photographs, postcards etc from the DIGNOS shop or Eye-4). When you get to the Ebay "review your purchase" screen, if for any reason you believe the p&p charges to be incorrect, simply click the "Request Total From Seller" link BEFORE you pay and we will revise as necessary before you need to pay anything, so don't worry. We will allow for multiple purchases within a 7-day period so if your checkout process has not been completed we will assume you are still buying (or at least thinking about it!). If you have finished and want your items, make sure you complete the checkout process and complete your payment so we can get your purchases on their way to you!
Q. Do you accept Cheques, Postal Orders, Cash etc? A. Not at this time. Sorry but we only accept PayPal as a form of payment right now so please do not purchase unless you are willing to pay using PayPal. We will be able to accept other forms of payment for UK buyers in the near future.
Quality & Service All Eye-4 / DIGNOS Modern Rail Images are professionally photographed using high quality commercial or semi-professional equipment (and standard photographic logging information is embedded within the jpeg image). We DO use premium quality photographic paper for our prints and use modern dedicated photographic imaging applications as our previous customers will testify (these are not simple "household" colour printer inks). We DO supply high resolution digital images in industry standard JPEG format which are suitable for enlargement or digital zooming. We ONLY send digital image copies after your request and only if you want them - we don't want to clutter up your email inbox unneccesarily! We DO post photographs that are double-packaged in a board-backed envelope and also within a protective plastic sleeve or sealed plastic bag to prevent against moisture contamination during transit. We pride ourselves on speedy delivery aiming to ship within 1 working day. We will sometimes even ship the same day if we can - provided payment has been received & confirmed, but please forgive us if we miss the 24-hrs on rare occasions! WE WILL send you an email confirmation when your purchase is posted.
Please note: Reminder: if you have purchased more than one item and already paid for them individually then we will assume that you want them individually and they will be sent to you - no deductions on postage cost and no refunds against postage can be made in this case. If you have paid for separate postage in this way they will always be sent to you in separate packets. We kindly request that payment is made within 7 days of purchase (or 3 days of final invoice issue, whichever is later). A reminder will be sent if payment has not been received within 10 days after which we reserve the right to void the transaction. Non-payment will be reported as such. Always contact us in advance if you believe there may be a problem as we will make every effort to help, but if you have not made payment and not contacted us either, you may lose your purchase and have a non-payment case against you. Due to the nature of this item, returns are not accepted however please contact us straight away in the unlikely event you are unhappy with your purchase and we will do what we can to help. The copyright of all Eye-4 "Digital Rail" photographs and digital images remains with Eye-4 / DIGNOS. Self-printing of a single copy of a purchased digital image for personal use is permitted.
