TRADITIONAL SOLOMON ISLANDS PROTECTION IMAGE CARVING

This is a Solomon Islands protection image carving, called NGUZU NGUZU. Mounted on the prow of the polynesian canoes and widely believed to give protection and advice during hunting expeditions.
