Welcome to this auction for a lovely Topper ISO, sail number 660, in very good condition!

The dinghy in this photo is not for sale but to illustrate the fun that you can have sailing an ISO!
ISO means equal - and equality in Topper International's revolutionary single trapeze boat is provided for a wide range of crew weight - from 125 to 165Kgs - by the incorporation of quickly detachable wings.
Lightweights gain power with the wings in place - but carry the burden of the wings carefully calculated weight. Heavies don't need the power of the wings and leave them - and their payload - ashore. Equal. Fair - and simple.
At 4.74 metres overall with a total sail area of 35.5 sq m, ISO has the length to provide stability and tremendous upwind performance - with sensational but controllable speed off the wind. This is a boat with all the quality, exhilaration, performance and STYLE of the premier racing classes. The GRP sandwich hull with integral double bottom is wide, powerful and stable. The strict one-design SuperSpars mast and Sobstad Genesis sails are supported by a precision engineered aluminium space frame and the asymmetric spinnaker is set on a retractable pole.
ISO is sailing off a Portsmouth Number of 926 yet even with this performance the single trapeze, asymmetric spinnaker and tremendous stability make ISO really easy to sail, thus widening its appeal to a range of sailors of differing abilities and crew weights. And unlike some more extreme designs, ISO is equally at home on small inland water courses as on the open sea.
As the first one-design asymmetric skiff, the ISO has rapidly built a huge following. With large fleets at clubs and open meetings the racing is incredibly tight with a good market for affordable and competitive used boats. ISO's quality and consistency is underwritten by the legendary building and engineering skills of the Olympic Gold Medal-winning White Formula team.
I Bought the ISO in 2004 as I wanted a larger dinghy with a Genoa and Trapeze, however, she proved too large for the lake I wanted to sail her on and so she has been stored since I bought her. I had a test sail with the previous owner prior to buying her and it was fantastic! which is why I'm sad that I never had a chance to sail her and that she must now aquire a new home.
She comes with a set of wings which are in good condition but have been repaired as they were slightly chipped when mooring to a jetty, Tiller in good condition with only a couple of chips on the rudder, dagger board which again has been repaired but is in good condition. The hull itself is in very good condition with only a couple of superficial chips here and there and a light repair of a chip, again from the jetty, on her starboard side.
Her sails include a jib which has delaminated in places but is still very useable, two mains with batons - one which could be used for training and another which is in very nice condition and was nearly new when I bought the boat and so has had very little use and a Genoa which is in very nice condition.
She sits on a galvanised launching trolley and so a road trailer would be needed for transport, however, we can deliver within a 30 mile radius for the price of the fuel.
The current cover is roughly 3 years old and although it has aged and some clips have fallen off it still keeps the ISO bone dry. There are also two harnesses included in the sale.
As she has been stored for 5 years and I have not sailed her in this time I can not gaurantee that she would be immediately ready for the water however she was in perfect sailing condition when she was stored and so I see no reason why this wouldn't be the case now.
She is a lovely boat in need of a good home and would be great fun to sail.
