Linn Tone Arm Allen Key and Spanner set - Brand New

This lot is a set of the four Allen keys and a Spanner essential to all Linn tonearm owners:

• 4mm: This is for the grub screw in the arm collar to allow the arm height (and hence VTA) to be adjusted. It is also for the 3 screws that hold the arm collar onto the armboard from underneath.

• 2mm: This fits the most common cartridge mounting screws.

• 0.05”: This is the tiny, hard to find one that fits the grub screw in the arm pillar that locks the plug of the arm lead in place (it's when you want to remove your arm lead that you discover that you don't have one...). It fits the grubscrew for changing the hieght of the cueing device (on most, but not all arms). Last but not least; it fits the grub screws in the smaller part of the two-piece counterweights on Ittok LVIIs.

• 1.5mm : Ekos and Akito arms need a 1.5mm size for the cable plug locking grub screw and the cueing device adjustment.

• Midget Open-ended Spanner 4mm & 5mm. Used for restraining the nuts on cartridge mounting hardware. Essential to avoid 'churning' the slots in the headshell when tightening the socket head cap screws used to fix cartridges.

Every one of the tools is the best quality available, the Allen keys are by 'Faithfull' and the larger sizes have ground ends, the midget spanner is by 'Britool'.
