This fabulous quality dresser base was made by Titchmarsh & Goodwin who are arguably one of the finest period style furniture makers to date, and it was originally purchased in 2001 for £1625.
Established in 1920, Titchmarsh & Goodwin of Ipswich use only the finest British grown timber for their oak furniture, and this is evident throughout the dresser base as it's made entirely from solid oak, therefore it's very heavy and substantial.
The intentionally distressed finish and exposed wooden peg joints really do heighten it's period influenced design, and the solid oak plank back and floor give further indication to it's superior build quality.
The superbly constructed oak lined and dovetailed drawers are fitted with attractive period style brass handles, and the impressive looking doors have raised and fielded inset panels which are very nicely shaped at the top. Period style brass H pattern hinges are fitted to the doors, as are solid oak knobs and rotating blocks, while the spacious interior is fitted with a fixed shelf.
The condition is excellent.
The height measures 30 inches.
The width measures 42 inches.
The depth measures 13 inches.

This item cannot be posted as it is too large and fragile. We carry out all deliveries in person, and each item of furniture is fully insured from the time of it's purchase to the time of it's delivery.
We deliver to most parts of mainland UK, but we advise that you request a quote for delivery before placing a bid or making a purchase so you are fully aware of the cost. We will combine multiple purchases to reduce delivery costs, and small items will go free with larger items.
We do not allow cash on delivery sorry.
Customers are welcome to collect, but by appointment only as we run an unmanned warehouse.
