My Father has had this timeshare for over 20 years and he has passed it on to me when he retired. Unfortunately, due to other commitments I am no longer able to use it any longer. The family has used the timeshare every year and so feel we have easily had repayment for the initial investment / purchase fee (£4450 in 1987). When I was younger, we always found it a great fixed point in the year to bring all of our family together in one relaxing location. Since I have taken ownership I have found it also to be a wonderful place to go to with friends.

The Sale:

• The transfer of deeds will be handled by Macdonalds.

• The cost of legal fees is £346 and will be covered by the purchaser. This is a MacDonald Resorts fee and not connected to the vendor.

• Management fees covering the holiday for March 2010 have been paid, so the purchaser will get 2010 for free.

Where else can you rent a 3 bedroom bungalow with free access to swimming and health facilities, for a week, for less than £500 per year?

You could purchase this from me, have a week long holiday (worth £455) in 2010 for 6 people for £346 and then sell on for 2011.

Why have I put this on auction for no reserve ? - simply because I don't have a requirement to use it any more and don't want the continuing maintenance fees. It did not cost me anything personally, so I do not have to cover any financial loss.

However, please make a note that the purchaser will be required to cover the cost of the legal transfer although I am happy to negotiate.
