In 2007 Sunterra was purchased by Diamond, so to avoid confusion, all 2008 listings from the Travel & Leisure Group will include both names. Sunset Bay is situated just 5 minutes' walk from the beach, the colourful Purto Colon marina and close to the busy centre of Playa de las Americas, There are many shops, resturants and bars in the vicinity of the resort. The resort has two swimming pools, one of which is acclimatised during the winter months. The apartments are spacious as you can see from the photos and resonably well furnished. The resort is on a hill and there are many steps to many of the units, so this resort may not be suitable to anyone with walking difficulties. Many clients' selling at this resort are doing so, due to their desire to sell their Sunterra/Diamond Points. The resort has an active owners club, which is joinable online for a small fee. The owners club is not associated with Travel & Leisure however.
