Time Pieces for Viola 1 Music through the Ages by Philip Bass and Paul Harris is a fantastic book for learning to play the viola and is recommended by many music teachers. All the pieces have the scores for piano accompaniment. This collection introduces the student to the different styles in music from the very beginning.
