You are looking at a Tiger Cat E1 which I built using a 2.0GL Sierra donor car.
The car passed it's SVA in August 2002 and as it used an original Sierra complete car, it carries the year registration letter of the Sierra - it's a "D" registration.
The car is a good standard non complicated build and used as much as possible of the original equipment. I used the original ECU from the Sierra and the car has an automatic choke. The engine was re-furbished, a new clutch and cam belt fitted with a new alternator and many other components. I have the original Tiger build manuals and a full set of receipts for components. The car has been kept garaged since the build and has been used carefully and hasn't been thrashed on track days - infact I regret to say it's not seen a track.
Some features of interest:
- 2.0L SOHC Pinto engine
- Westfield gear change fitted - much better than Tiger original
- Fox 6Jx14 alloy wheels
- Full weather equipment - side screens and hood
- Tonneau cover
- Lockable boot
- Boot cover
- Powder coated chassis
- Spax adjustable front shocks
- 4 point harnesses
- Battery shut off switch
- A number of internal panels were made removable for easy access
- Fully carpeted with mats
