This is a copy of a handbook issued by E.R. Watts and Son Ltd. some time before and just after the last war. It is a cleaned up scan and not a regenerated print but it is perfectly legible. The booklet is a users guide to the care and use of an Instrument. It does not cover serious repair work but explains how to check a theodolite and adjust its various parts including treatment of the index marks. If you have no experience of the earlier instruments this book should be helpful, and if you have little knowledge of Theodolites in general this makes a good read and sound starting point 10 Pages, A5 Black and White.
