Album notes
URBAN HYMNS contains a hidden track after "Come On."The Verve: Richard Ashcroft (vocals, guitar); Simon Tong (guitar, keyboards); Nick McCabe (guitar); Simon Jones (bass); Peter Salisbury (drums).Additional personnel: Mel Wesson, Paul Taylor (programming).Producers: Andrew Loog Oldham, Youth, The Verve, Chris Potter."Bitter Sweet Symphony" was nominated for the 1999 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or A Group With Vocal and Best Rock Song.On URBAN HYMNS The Verve continues to widen the creative spectrum of psychedelic Britrock. The Verve exhibits a great deal of musical depth as they blanket "Bitter Sweet Symphony" with a full string section, employ acoustic guitars to evoke the simple, Carpenters-ish sentiments of "Sonnet" and "The Drugs Don't Work," and utilize heavily processed guitars on "Weeping Willow." Whether exploring the loud or soft extremes of their dynamic range, the band aspires to classic songwriting, tastefully incorporating retro sensibilities with sweet-sounding hooks that yield a tranquil, pastoral beauty.

Like all the CD's I am selling, it was originally purchased from HMV, Woolworths or WHSmith. I am also selling many other Top Title CD Albums and offer a Postage Discount (detailed below) if you wish to view my other items.

It is in wonderful condition. It has been played before, yet it has been well taken care of.

POSTAGE DISCOUNT - The first item you purchase is UK FREE, Europe £2.45 and Rest of World £2.95 (cost includes Postage, Handling and Packaging). Anything you purchase after that (unlimited amount) will only be UK FREE, Europe £1.80 each, Rest of World £2.30 each. It is often worth checking my other items in order to make the most of the Postage Discount.

FEEDBACK - I always leave feedback for a buyer after they have left feedback for me. By doing this, I am assured the buyer is happy and considers the transaction complete.

POSTAGE - As you will see from my feedback, most people tend to comment on the fast speed of delivery. I always aim to post at the first available opportunity, which usually means the next working day. However, please allow slightly longer at times when I am unable to reach the Post Office.

COMMUNICATION - If you have any questions, or need to contact me, please use the above link entitled 'Ask Seller a Question'. If you write directly to my email, I will not be able to respond as it will be classed by my filter as spam.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - I always do my best to list the details of each item as clearly as I can. Please ensure you have read the description thoroughly before asking any unnecessary questions. I'm afraid I am not open to requests to close auctions early. All CD's are Releases, originally from a High Street Store (usually HMV or WHSmith). Buyers are requested to make payment within 7 days. I allow up to 7 days incase you are still shopping with me and are waiting for other items to finish. Winning bidders who's payment has not been received after 7 days, I'm afraid will be considered a non-payer,  and will be reported to ebay. Many buyers find that the auctions they wish to bid on, end at different times, therefor I always allow slow payment for those making the most of the Postage Discount and are still shopping with me. If you do win more than one item, please pay for them together so that ebay recognise that you are owed a postage discount. If you wish to check my other CD's or DVD's, please click the link above saying VIEW SELLERS OTHER ITEMS.

Thanks for reading and best of luck should you chose to bid!
