Please note this is a German manufactured trailer chassis - NOT NOT NOT the cheap and nasty Far East trailers that are being advertised all over Ebay - buy them at your peril.....
Bought NEW to be built into single bike trailer for towing Goldwings, Harley's etc but just don't have the time.
This is really the ultimate in quality chassis construction - and these are used on most of the mobile compressor units you see being towed by road construction companies all around Europe & the UK.
Cost of this was @ £1200.00
It is fully braked on both wheels
It uses a pin hitch instead of the more common and easier to steal 50mm towball, - a suitable combination towball can be bought on ebay for £25+ - I will include a standard 50mm ball hitch/pin which you can still tow with.
The handbrake assembly is a very professional commercial unit
The trailer neck / spine uses a cat adjustable set up - again VERY professional
Distance between tyres = 965 mm
Distance between mounting plates on able = 800 mm
Length from centre of axle to point on spine where it angles upwards = 925 mm.
Wheels are 13" fitted with 155/80 UNIROYAL radial tyres.
Breakaway cable fitted.
Axle rated at 1500 kgs.
2 x New mudguards included
The plan was to mount a loading chanel and then to secure to frame - simple - buy just no time...
