Like many funny men considered by all to be a genius, Peter Sellers was a troubled man in private. This film, made with the approval of Sellers' family, contains footage from their private archive of home movies, discovered after his death yet filmed between 1948 and 1977, and tells the story of Peter Sellers' private life, and illustrates his huge circle of friends and acquaintances that included Stanley Kubrick and Sophia Loren and even the Royal Family. Featuring revealing voice-overs from Sellers, colleagues and wives, this is a candid and personal self-portrait.
