The Castles of the Lordship of Glamorgan Limited Edition 1972

 

This book entitled Castles of the Lordship of Glamorgan is in good condition. It is hard back in board complete with Perspex dust jacket. Published by Stewart Williams 1972. It is a limited edition of 500 copies and this is book No.44

It is 9” tall by 11 ½ ”wide. It was it first published in 1828 by Jenson Homfray. It contains 43 pages with full page good quality facsimile copies of engravings (protected with individual tissue paper) of the following castles including a short history of each castle and lordship :
Cardiff, Peterstone, Talavan, Neath, Coity, Llanblethian, Penmark, Sully, East Orchard, St.Georges, Ogmore, Fonmon and St Donat’s.
