This book has no date so am not sure if it is a first edition or not. It has 312 pages plus 1 page of adverts and was published by Hodder & Stoughton of London. It has no dustwrapper, a yellow/orange cover with black decoration, with some red on the spine. The cover is dirty due to not having a dustwrapper but I hear lighter fuel is good for cleaning covers though I have not tried it. It has no inscription and has one loose page, plus a tear down the edge of the first page (the one before the title page). Would guess at 1920s or 1930s by cover design.
