The Borough Pocket Guide to Hertford  - Circa 1900 - 1910.

48 page illustrated guide (circa 10cm x 16cm) as title with some slight wear at the top of the bottom of the spine and some marking to covers but otherwise in very good condition. The guide has many contemporary advertisements (some illustrated) including:

  • Salisbury Hotel, Fore Street.
  • Graveson & Co., Market Place & Maidenhead Street.
  • C.W. & G. Nunn, Ironmongers.
  • Bates Brothers, Grocers.

  • Wickham's Mill Bridge, Brewery.
  • Norris & Duvall, Auctioneers, 60 Fore Street.
  • Hertford Town Steam Laundry, Ware Road.

  • Hertford Gas Light Company, 7 Castle Street.

There is some very slight staining along the centrefold of the pages due to staple deterioration.
