Introduction
This booklet is in new condition. The text is 53 pages long, A5 (bound) with clear diagrams. It is not an e-mail attachment that requires you to print it out , at your expense, before you can effectively use it in a workshop.
The publication has been on sale since 2002 through environmentalist magazines and Web outlets and is now on its 7th edition.
Although the text provides suggestions on how large scale production may be attempted, the main emphasis is on small-scale production on a "domestic" scale.
The Biodiesel Manual has been proof read by a petro-chemical engineer and also a commercial manufacturer of biodiesel in the U.K. It is therefore a good, reliable, text for anyone contemplating engaging in small scale manufacture of biodiesel.
A Guide To The Contents
Biodiesel can be used to run virtually any engine designed to run on ordinary "mineral" diesel, there are however one or two potential problem. The text deals with these issues so that you will not end up with an unusable engine. You will also be advised on the taxation situation regarding manufacturing and using Biodiesel.
