Dated September 4 1977. Cover and relevant inside pages only, NOT complete magazine. The pages which have been preserved are a facsimile of a whole chapter from Alice Through The Looking Glass which was “lost” for 100 years, following objections from Sir John Tenniel, Lewis Carroll’s illustrator. The chapter entitled “A Wasp in a Wig” is reproduced complete with marked up proof readers corrections, and is followed by a short article illustrated with two photos, and illustrations by Patrick Procktor, Sir Hugh Casson and Peter Blake.

Also surviving on adjacent pages are period advertisements including PYE car stereo cassette, Jaguar cars over the decades and Shloer and family.

Condition fair, pages yellowing with age, edges fragile and curled, but not detracting in any way from content.
