Technics SU-V560 Class AA Integrated Amplifier
Sorry about the pics and I'll try to describe things as best as poss.
This is a well used Technics amp but just looking at it now I still find it awesome. It has provided me with many great musical moments. A great sound, I'd say this is a more of an all round amp which either captures warmth or later digital sounded clarity.
The condition is not bad but there are scratches to the top casing and to the top ridge corner (darn it). I've tried to show it in the pics. Yet there are no scratches to the actual front. The knobs have seen their fair use, the volume knob edge is scratched/dinked in one place, showing a bit of metal, the paint has faded away. The input selector knob also has a slight dink. Some knobs are a bit sheened but this is being on the picky side. Overall it's still a nice clean amp and it can pack a punch. On the back it says 520W.
This is one of those amps you see in shops just happily sitting in the corner pumping away, reliable, fine sounded. Actually if you're opening up a shop this would be ideal. This is not to relegate it from the realm of hi-fi connoisseurs as the quality is second to none and would do justice to your separates.
The amp has a Power Amp Direct feature, A and B speaker selection (or both), Bass Treble, Balance, you can turn this on or off via tone selector. Loudness, Stereo or Mono, Phono selector (MM/MC) and Input and Record selector for Aux, Phono, Tuner, CD, Tape 1, Tape 2/Dat.
This is an ideal amp at the starting price and if you live in London then obviously you can collect (North London, Wood Green) which makes it more of a deal. Postage wise, the transformer in this amp is mind-boggingly heavy and hence postage costs.
Happy bidding, cheers
