This necklace & earrings is made with Smokey Quartz gemstone beads and Swarovski Crystals in the same colour. It features a lovely faceted Smokey Quartz gemstone teardrop pendant.
It's that bit slimmer and more petite than many of my designs so it works well for daytime as well as evening. I would describe it as medium in scale -
I've deliberately kept this design simple with all the focus on the faceted pendant and the wonderful cool taupe brown colour of the gemstones.
Below you can see the Swarovski "section" in the middle of the necklace
(The tiny beads in between the round Quartz Beads are glass).
The pendant itself is quite delicate and measures just over 3cm or just over 1.25" but the overall "drop" or pendant section is a graceful 2.5" (6 cm) so it works very well with either a low neckline for evening or high neck sweaters & tops.
The earrings have a drop of just over 1" (3 cm) and have Sterling Silver ear wires so for pierced ears only. The round bead is also Smokey Quartz and the earrings include more Swarovski Crystals.
The necklace measures 17" (43cm) but can be extended by a further 2". The hook & eye clasp is Sterling Silver and very slim & pretty. the extender chain is Silver Plated and is decorated with more Smokey Quartz and Swarovski crystals, the Costume Drama trademark "dangle".
Smokey Quartz Grounds and stabilizes energies, helps lift depression. It also draws out and absorbs negative energies, replacing them with positive ones. For me it is the wonderful colour which works so well with neutral colours............rich and subtle at the same time.
