TAUNTON VALE RETRO 1970s CERAMIC HERB STORAGE JAR

This lovely storage jar dates from the 1970s and has the Taunton Vale mark stamped on the base.  The initials “JA” and the number “4” are also impressed on the base. 

This is a square herb jar standing 6” tall and 4” x 4” across the base, and has a rubber seal around the neck of the lid. 

It’s beautifully decorated on all four sides and the lid with a bunch of herbs. 

There is underglaze crazing and a tiny chip on the rim of the top but overall this super herb jar is offered in very good condition.
