Introducing...The Limited Edition Tama Starclassic B/B "Black Clouds & Silver Linings" Drum Kit.
When Mike Portnoy of Dream Theatre was looking for a new finish for his touring kit he was searching for something with killer looks that could look great on any stage, he was then introduced to the "Black Clouds & Linings" kit.

The kit consists of:

10" x 6.5" Tom
12" x 7" Tom
16" x 16" Floor Tom
22" x 18" Bass Drum
&
A Matching 14" x 5.5" Snare Drum

Shell configuration:
TT/FT : 4ply Birch + 3 inner ply Bubinga, 6mm
BD: 5ply Birch + 3 inner ply Bubinga, 8mm

NOTE: Stands Not Included. Hardware for displays purposes only.

The B/B Performer Starclassic:
The distinct and traditional sound of Birch has made it the choice of many Pro drummers for the last thirty years. Tama believes it's time to take Birch in an entirely different direction,
by using Bubinga wood for the the inner layers of a birch shell. This mixture of Birch and Bubinga has created a new sound with a sweeter and deeper tone which exhibits the focused attack of Birch paired with the enhanced lows of Bubinga.
