PAIR OF RARE VINTAGE FULL-SIZE HAND PUPPETS with MOVING MOUTHS

This auction is for a gorgeous pair of vintage / antique hand puppets in used condition as shown in the photographs.

Both these puppets have wooden handles underneath their clothes to hold them and pull-mechanisms to open and close their mouths. The clown also has free-moving pupils in his eyes. They both work perfectly.

The clown has some damage to his feet (see photo) but this can be sewn up / repaired easily enough. His bow tie needs sewing back on on one side too. Apart from that, he is in good condition. He measures 63cm in length.

The girl's hair is very fragile and she has a few small stains on her trousers. Her hat needs glueing back down at the back. Other than that she is in good condition. She is also 63cm in length.

I have no idea who the manufacturer is or how old they are. If anyone knows, can they please let me know?
