ALL MY ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PERSONAL COLLECTION TO SAVE SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs for heavier items, especially those requiring a lot of packaging material, are always an unwelcome addition to the transaction price. I try to keep them down but international costs in particular can sometimes become out of all proportion in relation to the item price. A second class Standard Parcels service for UK bidders is offered as an option for heavy items and non UK bidders may like to consider the Surface Mail option. Most of my listings include a price for these cheaper methods. Although in some cases surface mail can take up to 2 months, it is often a lot quicker and if you are not in a hurry to receive your item(s), can offer considerable savings
IF NOT OTHERWISE STATED, POTENTIAL BIDDERS SHOULD APPRECIATE THAT ALL OLD/USED ITEMS WILL EXHIBIT NORMAL SIGNS OF WEAR AND USE COMMENSURATE WITH THEIR AGE AND ORIGINAL PURPOSE. ANY DEFECTS PRESENT, NOT CONSIDERED TO BE FAIR WEAR AND TEAR, WILL BE MENTIONED IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION. WHEN BIDDING PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT ITEMS ARE UNLIKELY TO BE IN "PERFECT" OR "PRISTINE" CONDITION, UNLESS DESCRIBED AS SUCH
I do not claim to be an expert on any or all of the items I list and describe them as honestly and fairly as I can, given my knowledge base and the information to hand. I never intentionally misdescribe items or "forget" to mention defects but do not consider myself above making the odd mistake, perhaps more especially so in the case of highly detailed/decorative items
It is never pleasant hearing from disappointed buyers and should you have reason to feel in any way aggrieved please do not hesitate to contact me as soon as possible. I will always strive to reach a mutually agreeable solution to any problems rather than end a transaction on a note of bad feeling and disappointment
