Designed for premium street cars up to 200 horsepower as a first level brake pad

upgrade.

Independent tests at the UK vehicle certification test track (MIRA) showed this

pad to stop 9 metres faster thanstandard aftermarket pads.

The new 2008 Greenstuff formulation hasbeen upgraded to deliver a slightly softer

pad with reduced brake noise and is fully shimmed, chamfered and slotted.

Dust rating is MEDIUM.If you ever need to make a panic stop from high speed, you

will really appreciate the stopping power that Greenstuff delivers.

Independently proved to stop a hot hatch 13metres faster than standard pads, the

new EBCRedstuff ceramic enhanced formula produced in 2007/2008 features a new

DUST REDUCED formula that has also been modified to overcome brake noise and

reduce disc wear.Redstuff is not a race pad and is intended for fastest street use

on cars of 200bhp or above or as a low dust pad on premium cars.

Although a full race material and capable of high temperature use with very good wear life, this new formulation sets a new trend in race type brake pad compounds. The "bite" from

cold is superb which is uncommon with race materials (normally requiring warm-up) and makes this a pad which can be safely used on the highway as well as on the race track. EBC Yellowstuff has been chosen by Silverstone race circuit for their Lotus and Ferrari experience car fleet and is used by many UK police Forces.

EBC's unique wide aperture slots actually pull cool air under the pad

Surface and help pad and disc cooling. EBC's "Blind Drilled" dimples Help break down surface gases but do not promote cracking, which has been shown to occur with "Through Drilled" discs. A unique feature of the EBC disc is that the slots extend completely

to the outer edge of the disc, which allows any dirt, dust gases, grit or debris from heavy braking to exit the padbraking area. This ensures flat and parallel wear of the pads throughout their wear life and use.

All EBC sport discs are gold zinc anodised to prevent the discs from corrosion in areas not swept by the brake pad. Optimum brake performance is realised after the zinc coating has been removed from the pad track area. Brake-InTM coating will remove this within 50 miles. It is possible that a small amount of noise is observed with sport discs. This noise gradually diminishes and at around 1,000 miles of road use the noise will be minimal.

By nature of the way this product works, EBC sport slotted discs will always make "some"

noise and this is not cause for concern, it is not a safety issue and it is not covered by warranty.

The latest super quiet slot pattern for prestige and premium cars requiring Discs that are almost totally silent featuring the latest chemically applied corrosion resistant black finish.

This black coating has been tested with the industry standard salt spray test and proven to last anywhere between 2 and 5 years depending on conditions and represents the ultimate in disc rust prevention.

The illustration shows a disc after it has been used for a period of time and the pad has rubbed off the black coating in the braking area. Order numbers are the same as the GD series but the prefix is switched to
