Here for auction is a Tudric Moorcroft pewter low bowl which, I am led to believe, was made for Liberty in the 1920s. The bowl measures 11cm in diameter including a 1½cm rim and stands 2cm high. I am not sure what the intended use would have been but it looks like it may have been used as an ashtray at some stage even though there are no recesses to hold cigarettes. You will see from the 2nd photo that it is engraved underneath - H Made in England Tudric Moorcroft 01340. I have not cleaned the bowl as I do not know what best to use - I will leave that up to whoever buys it. It has several dings around the rim and around the outside - see 3rd photo. I always pack with care and post off promptly after payment is received so you may bid with confidence. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE REQUEST P&P BEFORE BIDDING - THANK YOU
