This is my bike bought new last May. One of the last in production before Triumph made way for the Street Triple so, as it says in the Triumph registration document it is a 2008MY model. As you would expect from a one year old bike it has absolutely nothing wrong with it other than a slight scratch on the front wheel rim. The tyres have thousands of miles left in them and are still the same profile as when it was new. I have two screens for it, a slightly chopped down one and a brand new original unmarked one. It won't need another service until 6k miles. I have done 3,910 miles on it and I can honestly say it is the most comfortable ride I have ever had and that includes Aprilia Tuono (Sergeant seat) BMW R1200GS and 1200 Bandits. The only reason I have to sell the bike is because my hips are worn out, apparently, so I will have to make do with something else but I can't think what! It is however an extemely comfortable bike for the more able-bodied. If you have never riddeen the 1050 Tiger I would thoroughly recommend booking a go on a dealer's demonstrator - it took me 10 minutes to be convinced. The suspension is fully adjustable but I left it as it came - it soaks up bumps but really cuts it through the twisties putting most sports bikes to shame. Forget green laning or off roading, it's dropped that big trailie pretension thank goodness. The bike comes with black Renthal bars plus the original chrome
ones. The pannier rails were removed and will be sold with the panniers and TOR can separately (no I won't throw them in, £755.00 they cost me!). The
original grab rails are now back on the bike. Please ask questions and come and have a look before you bid - it will be worth your while. Please don't bid if you cannot pay cash or cleared cheque, or have a low feedback value or indeed, have no real interest in buying I reserve the right to withdraw from the auction at any time, and also to block bids from unacceptable bidders. Buyer collects on receipt of cash or cleared funds. Good luck!
