      The TriSquare TSX100 eXRS radio is a digital radio offering 1000 channels. The TSX100 operates in the 900 MHz frequency range, which means it can be used by individuals or businesses without purchasing a license from the FCC. The 900 MHz frequencies, along with TriSquare's frequency hopping technology, offer better privacy and much more secure communications than radios operating on UHF or VHF frequencies.

      The TSX100 provides a phone book which allows you to store 10 channels, hands-free (VOX) use, a call alert, and backlit display.

      This TSX100-2VP value pack includes two TriSquare TSX100 radios, a dual pocket desktop charger, and two rechargeable battery packs.

      All UHF radios are effectively line-of-sight communications and under the same conditions, all portable UHF radios should perform about the same with respect to range, however that distance could range from a few blocks up to more than a hundred miles. eXRS radios will meet or exceed the usable range of other UHF portable radios (including FRS/GMRS) under the same conditions of use. If the GMRS (or FRS) gets 30 miles, so will the eXRS - if the GMRS (or FRS) gets only a few blocks, so will the eXRS. Realistically, expected range can be from a few blocks to a couple of miles, and possibly longer under more optimal line-of-sight conditions.
