With its iconic design, amazing rose metallic colour and retro styling, Whenever I drive the car people approach me to comment on its looks. There are only a handful of these in the UK.

They were designed by Toyota Japan for the Japanese market (right hand drive). The only ones in the UK are imported by importers like myself, not by main dealers. You can't get them from Nissan UK but dont worry, they are based on the Toyota Yaris which is avaliable here, parts are easy to get and not expensive.

All UK conversions have been made on this WILL - not just the legal ones as many imported cars have - but everything needed to make life easier so that you would never know this car was manufactured abroad. Other advantages are speed limits in Japan are stricter meaning this car probably hasn't gone over 60mph; the climate there is drier and the roads are not salted meaning the life of the car is extended, servicing is cheaper, emission and equivalent m.o.t testing is a lot more thorough. All in all, Japanese cars are far superior to the UK models. On top of this the car is not sitting around at the docks or in some yard. It has its UK number plates, a years MOT, six months tax. It's ready to drive away!

This particular TOYOTA WILL is a great example- in stunning top condition, and rare metallic rose. It has front electric windows, air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, a four speed column automatic gearbox with over drive, bench style seats to go with its stylish unique retro interior, front and back (gives loads of room and makes the car
appropriate for those intimate moments!), airbags,and a foot controlled parking brake. It has in-car entertainment including a touch-screen radio converted to pick up UK stations, a CD player and a 5" dash-mounted Clarion DVD player.(more detail on stereo below) Backed by its Japan auction sheet, it has covered only 39700 miles(this is the lowest mileage one I could find in the UK). The digital dash has all been recalibrated to show miles rather than kms (odometer and speedo - rare!) It has remote control locking and an immobiliser with certificate,(approved 2) just fitted for safety - contributing to cheaper insurance. Besides all that I have said above, the WILL's greatest asset is its styling, so please examine the pictures below carefully as each time you look at this car you notice something extra!

Outside.

 As you can see the photos say it all the condition is amazing. The paint is one of this cars strongest features which often has different shades depending on the angle you look at the car and the light, it really needs to be seen in the flesh for full appreciation. Even after close inspection I have only been able to find the smallest of scratches (one on the body a few light ones on the wheel trims) or chips and no dents atall. The condition really is outstanding. The retro styling is enhanced by the horizontal grooves that run down the side(see pics below) they are echoed throughout the design of the car. All windows have wind deflectors, these are useful and are not fitted on u.k cars. All the glass is undamaged or chipped. The tyres are all good. All panels are straight and this Will is not accident repaired whatsoever.


Inside.

 Its hard to say which is the Wills best feature, the outside or the interior. Again the retro styling repeats itself through out the inside. It has an almost cartoon like front seat area with bold volumtuous features, the controls are simple but very informative. The emphasis is on space for a small car there is plenty of room, even in the back seats and boot. The seats which are beige with leather headrests are luxury upholstered, unique to the will. Everything inside is great condition there is no damage atall no drilled holes ripped headlining or awful smells. The in car entertainment is great, please note that the touch screen clarion, radio, cd, dvd is a japanese one and some of the screen instuctions are written in japanese, saying that alot is in english and I havnt had a problem using it. It has a band expander fitted to enable u.k radio to be picked up.

Mechanical.

 I have done a good few hours driving in this car, its also been checked over by my mechanic. Neither of us have any faults atall to report. It starts on the button, does not smoke, the brakes are good. The overdrive is working on the automatic gearbox and the gears change as they should with no lunges etc. As far as I am aware it is 100% faultless.

Drive.

 Alot of cars that are designed with the emphasis on looks are let down by the drive. This car is not atall, unlike other retro designed cars it is effortless to drive. It has very light but not out of control steering, the brakes are good. It sits well on the road without being too stiff, and is effortless to park. On top of all this I was mostly impressed with the motorway driving after effortlessly nipping through the traffic I comfortably drove long distance at a good speed without that uneasy feel that alot of small cars have. Everyone thats driven the car has commented on the great drive, as with the looks this will really needs to be driven to be appreciated.
